Background In recent years, video surveillance has been extensive used.
The cameras can be found in every corner
of social life. However, the current
surveillance systems connect with many

using a “person” as main objective.
Overview Based on the existing video surveillance
monitoring system, the new system uses
CCTUNG’s facial recognition technology,
and combines with embedded devices. It
adopts “distributed system
architecture”. First, the system
analyzes facial data capturing from the
camera, then sends these real-time
results to the server. After that the
system management application compares
the real-time data with data in the
blacklist. If the results match with
each other, the alarm will be triggered,
and the notice will be sent to nearby on
duty security guard or police officer,
so that they can catch the suspect
without losing any time.
