KFC

KFC is a restaurant chain（连锁店）that sells delicious（美味的）fried chicken. Its logo（标志）shows a smiling grandpa with white hair and a white suit. This friendly grandpa is not made up（虚构的）—he was a real person! His name was Colonel（上校）Harland Sanders.

When Colonel Sanders was young, he tried many jobs. In his forties, he opened a small gas station（加油站）in his hometown in Kentucky.
