Mickey Mouse

Mickey Mouse is a very famous（有名的） little mouse! He looks super cute（可爱的）. His round ears look like two big black cookies. He wears red shorts, big yellow shoes, and white gloves（手套）. He always has a big smile and looks very happy.

Mickey Mouse is very, very old. He was born in 1928! A man named Uncle Walt Disney created（创造） him. People say that Uncle Walt thought of Mickey while he was riding a train. Mickey’s first cartoon（动画片） was called Steamboat Willie. It was a special（特别的） cartoon because it had sound（声音）! 

In the cartoon, Mickey drives a boat and whistles（吹口哨）. Everyone thought it was amazing（令人惊奇的）. Since then, Mickey became more and more popular（受欢迎的）.

Soon, people all around the world knew Mickey Mouse. He appeared（出现） in many short cartoons. He loves playing with his best friends—like the silly（傻乎乎的） Goofy, the grumpy（脾气不好的） Donald Duck, and his sweet（温柔的） girlfriend（女朋友） Minnie Mouse. They have many fun adventures（冒险） together. Mickey is always cheerful（开朗的） and never gives up when things get hard. He is also kind（善良的） and loves to help his friends. Everyone loves how brave（勇敢的） and happy he is.

Because Mickey Mouse became so popular, Disneyland was created! In the park, Mickey’s home is called “Main Street, Mickey.” Kids can visit him there, give him hugs（拥抱）, and take pictures（拍照） with him. You can see Mickey everywhere—in books, on clothes（衣服）, and on school bags. He became a little symbol（象征） of happiness（快乐） and friendship（友谊）.
