Disneyland

Disneyland began with a simple dream (梦想). One day, Mr. Walt Disney took his daughters to the park. As he watched them laugh and ride the merry-go-round (旋转木马), he had a wonderful idea. He wanted to create a place where all children and families could have fun together.

On July 17, 1955, the very first Disneyland opened in California (加利福尼亚), USA! That day was later called “Black Sunday” because things were a little messy (混乱的), but Walt’s dream finally came true. He said, “May this be the happiest place on Earth.” And it really became a place full of joy (欢乐), loved by people all over the world.

When you walk into Disneyland, the first thing you’ll see is the fairy tale (童话) castle. It shines like a lighthouse (灯塔) in a dream and is the heart of the whole park. So many fun adventures are waiting for you! You can ride a roller coaster (过山车) through the dark with your heart racing fast. 

You can float on a boat in “It’s a Small World” and listen to dolls from around the world singing happily together. You can spin in a teacup and laugh until your tummy hurts! Don’t forget to visit “Pirates of the Caribbean (加勒比海盗)” for a thrilling (惊险的) sea journey (海上旅程).

Surprises are everywhere in the park! Mickey, Minnie, Elsa, Anna… all your favorite characters (角色) might be walking nearby. Be brave and say hi! Give them a hug, take a picture, and smile your brightest smile!

During the day, there’s a happy parade (游行)! Colorful floats (花车) roll by, with princesses and princes waving, and fun characters dancing around to greet (打招呼) you. At night, the castle shines with beautiful lights, and fireworks (烟花) paint magical (神奇的) pictures in the sky. It’s so pretty, it will take your breath away (令人屏住呼吸)!

What’s really amazing is that Disneyland keeps changing like magic. New friends, new stories, and new adventures (冒险) are always being added. Technology (科技) makes the fairy tale world feel even more real. Every corner hides a new surprise, waiting for you to find it!
